With the new W170D+ Forage Power, New Holland is expanding the W170D series with a variant in the 255 hp segment specifically developed for silage applications. The wheel loader, with an operating weight of 16.4 tons, delivers 1,300 Nm of torque to the ground, supported by a six-speed transmission with active torque converter lock-up from first gear. With a 350-liter fuel tank, a top speed of 40 km/h, and engine speed memory, it is designed for long working days and trips between job sites. The bucket pivot point is at a height of 4.54 meters, while a long wheelbase and rear-mounted engine ensure a high payload. A “Cooling Cube” system with a reversible fan keeps the machine cool even in dusty conditions. Inside the cab, New Holland offers ergonomic comfort, full LED lighting, and a continuous panoramic windshield. Rear visibility is improved by a 178° wide-angle camera.
