The camera-controlled sliding frame is equipped with an additional rotating axis that automatically compensates for drift and inclination on slopes and keeps the hoeing machine parallel to the row. This reduces the offset problems typical on slopes, which affect precision and driving speed. Smart-Hill is fully integrated into Row-Guard and corrects the angle as soon as drift or steering movements occur. In practice, the finger hoes run along the row, crop damage is avoided, and the quality of work increases. Einböck developed Smart-Hill in collaboration with CLAAS E-Systems.
