CLAAS is expanding its Trion combine harvester range with the new top-of-the-range Trion 760 model. At its heart is the APS Twin Hybrid threshing system with a 1,420 mm channel width, APS accelerator drum, 600 mm threshing drum, and two axial rotors (445 × 4,200 mm) for residual grain separation. The grain tank has a capacity of 13,500 l and can be emptied at a rate of 130 l/s. The Trion 760 is powered by a MAN D26 engine with a displacement of 12.4 l and an output of 507 hp. DYNAMIC POWER adjusts the engine power to the demand and, according to the manufacturer, saves up to 10 percent fuel. DYNAMIC COOLING with the horizontal radiator package – as in the Lexion – ensures further fuel savings with the variable fan (up to 15 kW fan power savings). 30 km/h is achieved at a fuel-saving engine speed of 1,600 rpm. The Trion 760 is available as a wheeled machine and with Terra Trac tracks. The cab features Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, DAB+, Bluetooth, new lighting, more storage space, and a compressed air connection. The LED work light increases ambient lighting by up to 75%. CEMOS AUTOMATIC, the automatic combine harvester adjustment system, is available in three versions and promises up to 20 percent more performance in the highest version. CLAAS connect bundles connectivity and documentation.
