Fendt presents its completely redesigned fourth generation of the Fendt 500 Vario series, an all-rounder for grassland, arable and vegetable farming, as well as for municipal applications. The Fendt 516 Vario maximizes the maximum power range of 164 hp. In this series, the intelligent Fendt DynamicPerformance (DP) concept provides an additional 10 hp (7 kW) for all models when main and auxiliary consumers such as the PTO, fan, compressed air supply, or air conditioning require additional power. For the first time in this class, the four models feature the compact VarioDrive drive with independent all-wheel drive, integrated tire pressure control, drawbar lighting, and a trailer brake assistant. The drive enables maximum traction with high ground protection on varied terrain and in curves. In addition, the tractor benefits from a small turning circle at full traction power. The low unladen weight and the permissible total weight of 11.75 tons result in a high payload of 4.9 tons for this class. FendtOne as a smart assistant including ISOBUS interface for attachments, numerous cameras, trailer brake assist, Apple CarPlay, and the heated windshield are designed to increase working comfort.
