CLAAS Cerex 700

claas cerex 700

Claas enters the upper league of variable round balers with its Cerex: bales up to 1.83 m, baling chamber with two endless belts, and up to 135 kg/m³ bale density in straw. The series (Cerex 760 RC and 780 RC) is aimed at large farms and contractors above the Variant. A spring-loaded cutting floor gives way by 0.03 m and can be lowered hydraulically in the event of blockages; the cutting mechanism works with 25 knives. New features include wrapper film binding, a hydraulic net brake for even tension and up to 15 percent net savings, and the “Duckbill” feed system for easier net insertion. Control is via ISOBUS or Cemis 700, including bale diameter and hydraulic knife on/off. In practice, the ramp and net supply for three rolls make changing easier; optional extras include a camera, moisture and ramp sensor, Connect telemetry, and central lubrication.
