Claas Jaguar 1200

Agricultural machinery manufacturer Claas presents its new Jaguar 1000 forage harvester, setting new standards in the forage harvester segment. New MAN V12 engines with a displacement of 24 liters deliver up to 1,100 hp. The harvester also features a new drive concept and a 91 cm wide knife drum. A wide crop flow channel and fully hydraulic pressing of the four pre-press rollers ensure even feeding, which should further improve chopping quality. According to Claas, the Jaguar achieves a throughput of up to 500 tons per hour. Also new are the Orbis corn headers with up to 14 rows (9.00 m and 10.50 m working width). They offer variable, independent drives and automatic adjustment via Cemos Auto Header or Auto Contour.
