The new self-propelled F8 and F9 forage harvesters from John Deere set new standards in driver comfort. The cab, familiar from the T and S series combine harvesters, offers excellent all-round visibility thanks to its width, ergonomic layout, and large glass surfaces—from the front attachment to the discharge flap. For the first time, John Deere has integrated the CommandPro joystick into its forage harvesters. Up to 11 freely assignable buttons enable individual machine control. In combination with the new G5/G5Plus CommandCenter touch display, machine operation becomes intuitive. Numerous assistance systems also support the driver in their work. The top-of-the-range John Deere F9 1000 model features the Liebherr V12 with a displacement of 24.2 liters and up to 1020 hp, including HarvestMotion.
