The T 6 800 is a 6-shaker combine harvester with a JD9X inline six-cylinder engine (9 l) and a maximum output of 466 hp. The inclined conveyor of the 6-shaker is 1.67 m wide. The grain tank in the T 6 has a capacity of up to 13,500 l (+23%) and empties at up to 150 l/s. The discharge spout is adjustable for greater control when unloading. The engine operates with intelligent engine speed management, which reduces the speed during transport or when stationary. The spacious cab is already familiar from the X 9 combine harvester and offers ActiveSeat™ II (optional), LED lighting, A-pillar display, dust protection door, and CommandPRO™ joystick. The positive pressure in the cab is designed to keep it particularly clean. John Deere precision technology includes StarFire™ 7500 receiver and G5Plus CommandCenter™ (12.8" terminal) with optional additional monitor for applications such as Machine Sync (control of the combine harvester's trailer from the combine harvester) or Grain Sensing (measurement of moisture/protein/starch). The basic version of the T 8 compensates for slopes of up to 7%, with the side slope package up to 14% and as HillMaster™ up to 22% slope.
