With a working width of 14.50 m, Kuhn is currently marketing the widest mounted disc mower on the market. The GMD 15030 combines four cutter bars, each with seven discs, which are connected in pairs via joints. A patented drive ensures direct power transmission and a compact design – when folded, the machine measures 3 m in width and 4 m in height. The system can be controlled either manually or via ISOBUS. The robust OPTIDISC ELITE cutter bars feature the FAST-FIT system for quick blade replacement. The LIFT-CONTROL technology with NON-STOP collision protection provides protection in the event of collisions. The 3.8 t machine requires tractors with a minimum of 230 hp.
