The CX series represents New Holland’s high-capacity straw walker combines. At the top stands the CX 8.90 PLMi, a six-walker model powered by a 460 hp FPT Cursor 9 engine. It features a 75 cm threshing drum and a 156 cm wide body. The four-drum threshing system is available with the Ultra-Flow drum, which uses a staggered drum to ensure gentle threshing while increasing throughput by up to 15%. The 12,500-liter grain tank unloads in just 100 seconds. Intelligent automation features such as IntelliCruise for forward speed, OptiSpeed for straw walker speed, and OptiClean with OptiFan for cleaning enhance performance and reduce operator workload. The machine compensates for side slopes up to 17% by tilting the entire cleaning shoe, including the grain pan. The latest generation offers improved operator comfort and advanced Precision Farming capabilities, including a redesigned IntelliView12 interface, enhanced guidance, and the Connectivity-telemetry package. With the NutriSense NIR sensor, grain quaility can be analyzed during harvest, allowing for quality-based separation. An innovative 4-WD drive system adjusts power distribution based on slope and grain tank fill level to ensure optimal traction. Optional 610 mm tracks enable transport speeds of up to 40 km/h.
