The New Holland T7.225 SWB—the top model in the new T7 tractor range—has a number of strengths. In the DLG PowerMix test, the model—in the version with Dynamic Command™ transmission—achieved a very respectable fuel efficiency of 243 g/kWh. The new front axle improves handling and reduces the turning circle to 11.4 m. The tractor has a 6.7-liter FPT Stage V engine with an extended maintenance interval of 750 hours. There are two transmission options to choose from: the aforementioned Dynamic Command™ (24/24 gears, 50 km/h Eco) and the Auto Command™ transmission (continuously variable, 55 km/h). Incidentally, the gross vehicle weight is 13.5 t and the payload is 5.5 t.  

The redesigned Horizon™ cab also offers improved access, more space, and new controls, including the compact SideWinder™ armrest with IntelliView™ 12 touchscreen. ISOBUS functions (class 2/3) and TIM support are available. A new color scheme is also offered: Dynamic Blue.
