Ropa has been offering potato harvesting technology since 2012 and has established itself on the market. Now Ropa wants to open a new era with the Keiler 2 RK22 potato harvester with technical innovations combined with aesthetic design features and the new hydraulic and operating concept. The working hydraulics have been completely revised for even more sensitive control of all drives and functions as well as increased drive performance. As a unique selling point among towed attachments, the Keiler 2 has a fully hydraulic drive for all separation systems, belts and chains in conjunction with internal, electronically controlled load-sensing working hydraulics. The new features also include hydraulically controlled depth control with a pressure control cartridge specially developed for this purpose. Twin-Clean is the new optional division of the first sieve chain as a lifting chain and a sieve chain. Both belts can be operated with different pitches and different speeds. The first lifting chain or sieve chain is hydraulically reversible. In addition, the speeds of the picking conveyor and the additives track can be adjusted independently from each other, both from the tractor cab and at the picking stand. In the future, up to seven high-resolution digital cameras will produce a razor-sharp display on the touch displays for machine settings and monitoring.
