Arable farming, grassland, transport - the line class between 150 and 200 hp is used everywhere on the farm. Fendt now presents the new compact four-cylinder 600 Vario. The completely newly developed 4-cylinder AGCO Power Core50 engine is exclusive to the series. It delivers a maximum of 209 hp from a displacement of 5 liters. This makes the Fendt 620 Vario the most powerful 4-cylinder tractor currently available on the market. For exhaust gas aftertreatment, the engineers rely on diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR), but without exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). Rated speed is just 1,900 rpm. Fendt also calls this the "Fendt iD low-speed concept." The top model reaches its top speed of up to 50 km/h at just 1,250 rpm. The maximum torque of 950 Nm is available on the Fendt 620 Vario from 1,200 rpm to 1,600 rpm. The basis of Fendt VarioDrive is the single-stage driveline with independent control of the front and rear axles. The continuously variable all-wheel drive transmission continuously measures the slip on all four wheels and regulates the power input sensitively.
